And even if you aren’t necessarily a racing fan – there is so much more to experience – from national vendors and live music, to games and people watching. It’s definitely a great time! Not going to be in the Daytona area in February? No problem. The venue has plenty going on year-round – just check the schedule posted online.

  1. Drive a Race Car

Not satisfied with sitting on the sidelines? The Daytona International Speedway also has the NASCAR Racing Experience to put you in the driver’s seat. You’ll definitely be feeling life in the fast lane!

3. Parasail Above the Water

Is there a better way to see the Atlantic than from a bird’s-eye view? Check out one of the local water sports companies to see what tours they offer… then sit back, relax and enjoy the ocean life scenery.

4. Learn To Surf

Surfing at Daytona Beach is fun for people of all skill levels. Sign up for lessons at one of the local surfing schools to give it a try.

If skydiving is on your to-do list, go to the Deland Municipal Airport, about a half-hour drive outside Daytona. Several skydiving companies operate from this location.
